The boys over at Bloody-Disgusting pointed us in the right direction today, just in time for the release of Christian Slater’s next masterpiece, HOLLOW MAN 2- which hits DVD next week.
And what’s just in time? How about a glimpse at the flick’s trailer? Were you wondering how they would bring that murdering invisible man back? Were you trying to figure out what Slater was doing in this sequel? Were you curious about exactly how low the budget was going to be? Well, if you happened to answer yes to any of these, then today is your lucky day- the trailer’s up at it’s OFFICIAL SITE, and boy does it look… um, well, pretty much what you’d expect it would look.
I can’t really say it’s gonna be bad, but from the trailer alone, I can say it’s probably not going to be very good. It might be entertaining as hell, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but the word good sure as hell didn’t come to mind after the trailer was over and done with.
No to say that HOLLOW MAN was anything to write home about either, but it sure as hell was a fun ride, and that’s all I’m expecting with this sequel. Sad to see Kevin Bacon didn’t make it back for another round, but I suppose Slater will do. I found it funny that they don’t really show Slater all that much in the trailer- you’d probably miss him entirely if you blinked about mid-way through. What is he, chopped liver? Then again, it’s a movie about an invisible man, so I guess that makes sense.
