This one goes out to all you closet Ellen fans out there (hell, I frickin’ love her show): tomorrow, May 9th, she has a little summer movie treat for everyone who loves M. Night Shyamalan, snakes, Samuel L. Jackson, and planes.
Ellen’s debuting the first full theatrical trailer for Shyamalan’s LADY IN THE WATER, and as the teaser kicked a bunch of ass and showcased that Shyamalan look and feel we all know and love, I can only imagine what the full trailer’s gonna look like.
But what may be even bigger than the world premiere of the WATER trailer is one of the first full clip from Jackson’s epic film about what happens when you have snakes, on a plane- SNAKES ON A PLANE! Jackson’s even going to be talking with Ellen about SOAP, and who knows what he’s gonna say! He could give us all sorts of juicy details, or he could just be like ‘Yeah, it was cool as hell making a movie with all these f*ckin’ snakes all over this f*ckin’ plane‘, but I suppose we’ll just have to tune in to know for sure.
So if you’re like my lame ass, and at work while Ellen’s on, be sure to set your TiVo, pop a tape in your VCR, or straight up call in sick to nurse that hang over of yours, because she’s got quite the show lined up for those who love horror in their summer movies.
