Today a Bloody-Disgusting reader dropped a line that Woody Harrelson, he of ‘Cheers’ and NATURAL BORN KILLERS fame (among others…) has been spotted on the set of one of the most anticipated horror movies ever: GRIND HOUSE!!!
Because this is coming as a ‘scoop’ and not as an ‘official’ announcement, we’ll have to keep our cynical hat on, but for now we’ll roll with it until we hear otherwise. Apparently Woody’s been spotted on the set of the Robert Rodriguez segment ‘Project Terror’, along with the likes of Michael Parks, Emmy Robbin (below) and Josh Brolin (who we’ve known joined the cast).
I’m a huge fan of Woody, ever since he charmed us in ‘Cheers’, scared us in NBK, and played the pot-smokin’ advocate roll when not filling those acting shoes, he’s always seemed like a true class act. And the fact that he’s in this particular project is even better- just look at the cast so far! Danny Trejo, Michael Biehn, Mickey Rourke, and Tom Savini just to name a few. Sweet.
