Hot off the trailer for NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES, director Mick Garris decided to let us all know when we can expect his Stephen King adapted TV-movie DESPERATION to hit the airways.

The three hour epic will be hitting ABC Tuesday, May 23rd at 8pm. Garris told Fangoria “Apparently, the feedback [the network] has been getting is overwhelmingly positive, and Tuesday seems to be a better day for the film,”

Any TV movie not hitting the Saturday night time slot will do a killing. Maybe I’m the only one here, but I go to the movies, or throw on a DVD before I’ll watch a commercial filled TV movie on a Saturday night. Tuesday… yeah, I can see that working out a whole lot better for ABC… and for us!

DESPERATION stars Ron Perlman, Matt Frewer, and Henry Thomas, and it will undoubtedly kick ass. Only a bit over a month to go! Stay tuned for more pics from the film as they surface!
