New Masters Named

Fangoria got the word today about a few new names being attached to the 2nd season of MASTERS OF HORROR. Earlier this week Mick Garris dropped the line that Ernest Dickerson (DEMON KNIGHT) climbed on board to direct one of the new episodes. So who else can we expect to entertain us?

The man who brought us CHILD’S PLAY, Tom Holland, is on board to direct, which is frickin’ awesome if you ask me! Say what you will, Chucky was actually kind of scary the first time around (of course, when you’re 8, any movie with a killer doll is scary… but still!), so I’m stoked to see Holland recognised for his contributions to the genre.

Director Dario Argento, who directed JENIFER from MOH Season 1, is set to direct PELTS, based on the short story by F. Paul Wilson. Cool… though the writer of WHITE NOISE 2 (Matt Venne) also penned this one, so who knows what we can really expect. Filming starts in Vanouver on PELTS April 18th.

And last, but certainly not least, John Carpenter’s project finally has a title, from CIGARETTE BURNS writers Drew McWeeny and Scott Swan, PRO-LIFE. Yes, you read right. PRO-LIFE. Which, if we’re lucky, there will be lots of loss of life and bloody too.
