The Horror Channel had a chance to talk with horror legend Robert Englund, aka Freddy Krueger, for the promotion of his latest film slamming onto DVD, 2001 MANIACS.
Durring the interview Englund dropped a few lines about his next project, where he returns to his 976-EVIL roots- behind the camera in the directors chair! The flick’s called KILLER PAD, and here’s what he had to say about it:
“Basically it’s about three white guys from the Midwest who come to Hollywood to get laid and partake in everything they’ve seen on MTV and VH1… Eventually they get tricked by you know who into buying a killer pad in the Hollywood Hills, which is also a portal to hell!”
Very f*ckin’ Englund if you ask me! Nice! I’m into the story, but even more pumped that Englund will be directing and starring in this feature- sure, EVIL wasn’t cinematic poetry or anything, but it had it’s moments.
