This news just might surprise like 3 of you out there… the release of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD 3D (or DE3D) has been postponed. Again. They really wanted to release the film this Friday, but due to issues with the CG effects and 3-D post production they’re looking to push it back.
All the way to mid September! Wow! That’s quite a jump, seeing as the original release was the end of January- now it’s some 9 months later? Nothing stings worse than that, I’m sure.
But there is some good news in all this- the time will allow them to clean up the ‘look’ of the picture, as well as explore a wider release than originally planned (which was extremely small-to-non-existant).
Can’t say that I’m all that stoked to see yet another remake of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, but at least this time they’re using the 3-D twist. I like 3-D, and would pretty much check this beast out based on that alone- what we really need is MORE 3-D movies out there! Come on people!
