Who should be behind the mask?
I really like Andrew Bryniarski aka
Remake Leatherface. I’ve met him a couple of times at Conventions and
he was a friendly, rock and roll, boozer, brawler type of guy. Kool mofo in
my book!
Fangoria reported yesterday (via a quote by Producer Brad Fuller) that Andrew was
NOT being considered for the role of death goalie Jason Voorhees in
Michael Bay’s/Platinum Dunes’ planned Friday the 13Th sequel, remake,
re-imagining, or whatever the heck its going to be. Andrew responded to that
statement today on his
Message Board and I quote:

It seems like it was only yesterday that FANGORIA
stated that I would NOT be playing “LEATHERFACE” in Platinum Dunes NEW
CHAINSAW movie. W-R-O-N-G!
Today I read that I will not be playing Jason in the new Friday the 13th
movie. Well I just spoke to them yesterday for the first time and I said my
piece and threw my hat into the ring. I would not be surprised if I do play
Jason in the movie. I want to play Jason in the film and it is being
considered as of yesterday.

right of the above pic. Kane “Fucking” Hodder baby! Bring the “real”
(to me anyways) Jason back already! I miss him! Debate
