Diesel’s Babylon Baby

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Vin f*ckin’ Diesel kickin’ ass on the big screen- THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK is really the last one that comes to mind (and no, THE PACIFIER does NOT count!). Today AICN is reporting that Diesel’s gearing up to do another ass kickin’ Sci-Fi actioner entitled BABYLON A.D.- and we all sigh in relief that it’s not another kid comedy!

Based on the novel BABYLON BABIES by Maurice G. Dantec, which basically tells the tale of futuristic genetic experimentations… and a lot of bad mofo action. Now here’s the Diesel we all know and love!

The flick’s directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, who brought us GOTHIKA a few years back (and is also starring as the bombmaker in MUNICH none-the-less), which makes me a bit weary, but as Diesel’s in a Sci-Fi thriller again, count my ass in and ready to rock!
