The boys at Bloody-Disgusting scored a first look today at the poster for the upcoming art-house horror flick SUBJECT TWO, which has been slaughtering the competition at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
Directed by Philip Chidel, the flick stars Christian Oliver and Dean Stapleton, and centers around a med student who volunteers to be killed a bunch of times as an expirament on regeneration at a secluded cabin in the snowy mountains.
Sounds a bit like FLATLINERS and that episode in Season One of TALES FROM THE CRYPT starring Joey Pants. I like the premise, and as Fred Gwynne said in PET SEMATARY, sometimes dead is better. As I’m sure the folks in this movie eventually find out.
The poster, which you can catch in all it’s full time glory HERE, has some serious creepy eyes piercin’ right into you. Good stuff! I’m sure we’ll be seeing SUBJECT TWO in theaters soon, as it looks like a surefire winner at Sundance.
