Dark & Dead

We got a line today from a sweet sounding independent horror flick making it’s premiere at the DARK & STORMY NIGHT screening in New York, January 23rd, and thought I’d share it to all yall on the mothaf*ckin’ East Side.

The flick’s called DEAD SERIOUS, which combines vampires, and right-wing terrorists, all in the confines of a gay bar. Yeah. Check the synopsis:

DEAD SERIOUS deals with right-wing
terrorists and a vampire take over a gay bar in New York City, it’s
the start of a blood-soaked night involving a famed televangelist.
Standing in the way are four unlikely heroes. Outnumbered, outgunned,
and completely out-fanged, they must survive the night and stop the
bloodshed before it engulfs the entire city.

Think FROM DUSK TILL DAWN… in a gay bar. The flick stars
Michael Weingartner, Brian Gianci, Patrick Swearingen, Thomas A.
Cahill, Paul Coughlan, Carson Grant, and Felissa Rose (yeah, the killer chick from SLEEPAWAY CAMP). Should be a good time all around, as vampires in bars are always up for a good time at the movies.

Now the flick’s playing at The Pioneer Theater with a Q&A with the cast and crew, and it’s even being broadcasted over the radio on WBAI 99.5 FM. You should definately order your tickets HERE, as I’m sure this will be a sold out show.

Thristy for more, aren’t you? Head on over to DEAD’s OFFICIAL SITE, where you can check out even more images than just these two, as well as more info. on the cast and crew (no trailer yet, but it says it’s coming).

So be there or be square January 23rd, as DEAD SERIOUS hits The Pioneer Theater for an evening of DARK & STORMY NIGHT. And since I live in Seattle (on the mothaf*ckin’ West Side!), I’ll be square.
