Today the boy’s over at Latino Review score a few new images from the Guillero Del Toro directed twisted mind-trip fairy tell from hell PAN’S LABYRINTH, and every new shot looks look fan-f*cking-tastic!
In case you’ve forgotton, this LABYRINTH goes a little something like this:
The story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944. After Franco´s victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.
That fable being a big ol’ drop of acid and some funky mushrooms if you ask me. There hasn’t been anything this fun, yet scary, since ALICE IN WONDERLAND. No joke..
Can’t wait for this puppy to slam into theaters, and to see what I mean be sure to the trailer, which is a trip into what nightmares are made of. Yeah. Hell yeah.
