is a good idea (Apart from the fact that if successful, it might spark more
useless remakes…bugh).

I personally didn’t care for the original where although
filled with potential and sporting a couple of effective moments, its datedness nixed out most of
its impact for me. So unlike
TCM,
DAWN OF THE DEAD,
THE FOG or
ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13; I feel that this
one could benefit from an update.
My hopes were raised high when I learned that Alexandre
Aja (The duder behind the great
HIGH TENSION) took the helm and now that
I’ve seen the
TRAILER; I’m fairly confident that the film
will own me and maybe you too.
