Lee on for Blade

The Hollywood Reporter dropped us some genre news today regarding a little TV show that’s coming out soon on Spike TV called BLADE. Yes, this project is still on.

Looks like Nelson Lee, this guy who you most likely have never heard of before in your life, has landed the role of Shen, who’s like Whistler, but not as cool. He supplies Blade with all of his toys that he uses to slay all dem pesky vampires.

I’m not really sure how I feel about this whole BLADE as a TV series, but at least it’s not on ABC, and on a channel that will push the envelope. Of course, at this point their only filming a pilot- but as it’s a well known franchise, there’s no doubt that it will be a greenlit series. Yippie. Look for the BLADE TV show sometime next year….
