Is it just me, or is the theater-to-DVD turn around getting shorter and shoter and shorter? I remember being a kid, and it seemed like forever for a movie I loved on the big screen to hit video- now it’s within a couple of months.

Case in point is Universal’s release of CRY_WOLF, which hits DVD shelves December 20th- yes, just in time for Christmas. It seemed just like yesterday WOLF hit theaters- oh wait, it was only 3 months ago! Three months! Man, why hit anything in the theaters if you can watch it in the comfort of your own home in just three months, without screaming kids, talking adults or overpriced popcorn?

As I was bummed to miss this bitch in the theater, I’m stoked to check it out on DVD, as all the extra goodies look promising enough- gotta love them Unrated Extras!

I know it’s been a long couple of months, so here’s a refresher of what WOLF is all about:

When the students at a prestigious prep school spread a hoax email about a serial killer, they start a game of terror and deception that has three rules: avoid suspicion, lie to your friends, and eliminate your enemies. But what starts as a joke soon turns deadly and now they find themselves victims of their own game!

So remember kiddies, don’t lie. Or you die. Or something like that. Hey, at least you can ask for this bad boy to appear under your tree! Look for CRY_WOLF on DVD Dec. 20th.
