I heard this news early; I didn’t believe it, I didn’t want to believe
it, so I wouldn’t face it unless somebody else confirmed
it for me. But yet it was true; as per Darren Bousman’s (The director of
SAW II) statement

here
. Gregg Hoffman, producer of

SAW
and
SAW II
has passed on…he’s dead. To me, he was the man that wrote
for us
here
, the dude I partied with a few times and the business man that I believed in.

Gregg, you will be sorely missed by your family and your friends.
Thank you for everything  you’ve done for me and for everything that you
wanted to to do. You were a man of your word and you made things happen. So rare in this industry and I respected you for that. God bless your
wife and your children. You left us too soon my man, and you will not be forgotten.

Gregg Hoffman died of natural causes on Sunday, December 4th, at 7:15 a.m. in Los Angeles. RIP
