We got a sweet heads up today regarding Primetime Pictures’ debut feature film, that not only stars Edward Furlong, but is making it’s premiere at this year’s ScreamFest Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles!
The flick’s called CRUEL WORLD, and it goes a little something like this: the flick centers on a scorned reality TV show runner up out for revenge (Ed Furlong), who traps nine college-age contestants on the set of his own fictitious show, where being voted off costs you your life.
Tell me there haven’t been a few reality TV stars you’d rather see slaughtered than fired or kicked off the show! What a ridiculously awesome premise! Let’s hope it turns out ok…
Not only is Furlong in this, but this slasher also stars Jaime Pressly (Not Another Teen Movie), Daniel Franzese (Mean Girls), Susan Ward (Wild Things 2), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Laura Ramsey (Venom), Joel Michaely (The Rules of Attraction), Brian Geraghty (Jarhead) and Aimee Garcia (A Lot Like Love). Quite the line-up for a debut slasher flick!
