Why they ever decided to stop making more TALES FROM THE CRYPT episodes on HBO is completely beyond me. The show had talent, it had wit, it had nudity, and it had gore- wrapped into one half hour package! What else could anyone ask for?
Well, after the WB released the Complete First Season on DVD this summer, it’s about time they released Season Two- just in time for Halloween! With special features including “Behind the Screams Shockumentary Featurette” and “Fright and Sound: Bringing the Crypt Experience to Radio”, this is looking to be a better package than Season One was- and that shit rocked!
But what’s the bigger deal here? How’s about 18 episodes of pure mayhem and comic relief for ya? Yes, three times the amount that Season One contained, Season Two is looking to own up to being apart of your DVD collection. And why the hell not? Guest stars like Demi Moore and Arnold Schwarzenegger rocked the small screen, and gave us all satisfaction when those that deserved to die did!
Look for the Cryptkeeper cackiling on DVD shelves everywhere October 25th.
