Today we got the word that Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures is picking the production back up on THE REAPING, which had to be put on hold due to the wrath of that f*ckin’ bitch Katrina.
The flick, starring Oscar winner Hillary Swank, is filming on location in and around Baton Rouge and St. Francisville. Here’s the official word from director Stephen Hopkins:
“On behalf of our cast and crew, we are pleased to be able to complete our filming in Louisiana and to be part of the region’s recovery effort.”
Now there’s getting back to the community. One has to wonder if they’re going to have to incorporate the hurricane into the script, as I’m sure the locations they’re using there have been seriously altered. Either way, count me on board for this flick, as so far it’s sounding pretty cool!
