scored some sweet news regarding Tony Todd’s next flick, JEKYLL AND HYDE, which is being directed by none other than John Carl Buechler (TOTAL REX).
The Candyman scored a few new cast members this week, including Judith Shekoni (pictured), and Vernon Wells (ROAD WARRIOR). Here’s what we can expect from this version of the classic tale:
In this version, Dr. Jekyll tries to repair DNA and genetic defects on a cellular level by using nanobots injected into the body. Of course, after curing the chimp Siegfried of its heart condition, Jekyll attempts to cure his own similar problem. Somehow this turns him into a caveman/apelike monster.
Sweet. Todd as an apelike caveman monster? Couldn’t be happier seeing Todd on screen doing what he does best… kicking ass! No word on when this flick is scheduled to hit theaters (…or video), but as soon as we hear it, you’ll be the first to know!
