I think this just might be the sleeper hit of the summer… or at least, that’s what all the movie exec’s are out there wishing, as this most disapointing summer season at the box office is just dying for a hit.
And they might just have it here with CRY WOLF, the upcoming slasher at a private school flick, featuring none other than Jon Bon Jovi.
It looks nitty, it looks gritty, and it almost makes you forget that it’s stuck with a PG-13 rating. Their New Official Site also makes a compelling case for this to actually be a good slasher flick. There’s the CRY WOLF game that you can play, which goes a little something like this:Cry Wolf™ the Game pits two groups of unequally informed players against one another in a discussion-centered contest of survival. Within the multi-round game, the well-meaning majority (aka “Sheep”) attempt to discern and eliminate destructive covert elements within the group (aka “Wolves”).
If you’re still ready for more, wait till you enter the Flash site itself, where you enter your name, and it begins talking to you….! Freaky!
Ok, so it’s not really all that freaky, but it’s definately kind of cool, and it makes exploring the site just a little bit more fun than the same old thing that’s often produced for movies like this.
Time will tell if the WOLF will eat up the box office September 16th. So in the meantime, play the game, explore the site, and have a blast!
