It’s about that time of year again, when the horror rules the world. No, it’s not almost Halloween, it’s almost the end of August, with this year’s 2nd Annual Rue Morgue Festival of Fear!
Based in Toronto this upcoming weekend, the festival contains some sweet horror movie premiers, very cool special guest appearances, and Crispin ‘You bet your ass I’m crazy!’ Glover is in the house as well. Check out what this fest has in store:
THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI featuring NASH THE SLASH
The legendary Nash the Slash performs a live soundtrack to Robert Wiene’s classic of silent horror cinema The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Friday August 26 @ 10 pm at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre 1 Main Floor.

PREMIERE: CRISPIN GLOVER’S WHAT IS IT?
Crispin Glover premieres his 35 mm directorial debut, WHAT IS IT? presentation and a formal question and answer session with fans. “Wildly creative and completely twisted” says The San Francisco Examiner. Sunday August 28 @ 7:30 PM at the Bloor Cinema (506 Bloor St. West, Toronto, tickets $20 in advance and $25 at the door).
