To me, THE OMEN meant two things: rottweilers, and parents who should know better. The remake to the 1976 classic, titled OMEN 666, is set to be released on June 6, 2006 (6-6-6, get it?). Casting the little hellraiser has been a long process for John “FLIGHT OF THE PHEONIX” Moore, and according to Ain’t It Cool News, we now have our hellspawn.
Josh Hutcherson, who you last saw with Will Ferrell in KICKING AND SCREAMING, is set to play Damian. Liev Schreiber will take on the role Gregory Peck made so great as Robert Thorn, with Julia Stiles playing Thorn’s wife, Katherine, who was played by Lee Remick in the original. No other details have surfaced, other than the fact that the film is still in pre-production. So for now, here’s a glimpse at the new face of evil.
