reports that another casting decision has been announced for the upcoming remake of THE HILLS HAVE EYES, which starts filming sometime this summer.
Emilie de Ravin, the cute chick from LOST, has been cast as the lead role, starring alongside Kathleen Quinlan, Ted Levine, Vinessa Shaw and Aaron Stanford.
Directed by Alexandre Aja, Fox Searchlight is hoping he can pull off a redux of Wes Craven’s masterpiece.

As of right now, I think Aja’s HIGH TENSION has officially bombed in it’s North American release (do they still feel dubbing was the right decision?)- which is sad, cause it really is a good movie- so it’s what Aja does with EYES that will really shape his directing career in Hollywood.
