UPDATE!!!: It appears we all jumped the gun on this one folks. We’ve just been informed that Jason Connery is NOT, I repeat NOT involved in any way with LAKE PLACID 2. Too bad… this would probably jump start his career….UPDATE!!!

AICN got a heads up from a loyal reader about some interesting happenings surrounding a paticular lake… that’s infested with giant killer Crocodiles.

Yes, it appears LAKE PLACID 2 is currently in production folks, but don’t expect a wise-crackin’ Betty White to be up in the hisouse, as it appears no one from the original will be returning.

The tipster says that Sean Connery’s kid Jason Connery is in it… and that he get’s good and f*cked up with a cut throat. Cool!

Consensus at this time smells like straight to DVD, with such a low profile and no stars attached… not to mention that no one really caught LAKE PLACID in the theater, so why loose money again?
