Descent Images/ Trailer!

Sometimes, a film comes along that you can’t help but get excited over. Sometimes it’s cause of the stars in them, sometimes it’s cause of the filmmakers behind them, and sometiems the plot just sounds so damn cool!


Such is the UK flick THE DESCENT, starring a bunch of hotties, from director Neil Marshall (director of DOG SOLDIERS), and here’s this for a storyline:

Six girls are on their annual adventure trip, which on this particular year happens to be caving . All is going swimmingly, until they get into the cave, and their route back is blocked by a huge rockfall. Determined to get out, the gals continue on, hoping to find another exit, unbeknown to them that they are not alone in the cave! In the depths of darkness, a race of monstrous creatures lurk…


Can I get a what-what? PITCH BLACK meets THE CAVE meets BAYWATCH. How can you go wrong? Really, it just sounds too cool for school. The Hollywood News was able to score 9 new images from the film, and everyone makes me think the film is going to be heaven on so many levels.
