Ahhhh New Zealand. Land of Hobbits, apples, smokin’ hotties and… Sheep. BLACK SHEEP. Probably the coolest idea to ever hit the movies… well, at least within the last year or so.

Director Jonathan King’s horror comedy just got picked up by Icon Pictures (you know, the one helmed by Mel Gibson) for distribution in Aulstralia, New Zealand and the UK. What about the rest of us???

Basically, SHEEP’s about genetically altered sheep… that turn into crazed psycho killing machines. Yeah. Hell Yeah. Here’s how King describes it:

“BLACK SHEEP is a frightening and funny horror film set in a New Zealand you’ve never seen before. It has brave heroes, creepy locations and creatures lurking in the dark.”

Filming starts this fall, but at least they’re making the wait not so painful with this first teaser poster of the film. Yee-Ha!
