Earlier this year we had a chance to check out the official site of Eduardo Sanchez’s next flick PROBED (see article HERE). Today the boys over at Blairwitch.de had a chance to sit down and talk to Sanchez about the project. Unfortunately for us, mums still the word on the juicy details that we really want to know. Here’s a bit of what he had to say:
How would you describe ‘Probed’?
PROBED is a sci-fi/horror/monster movie where the characters have a lot more to deal with than just an creature from space. I wish I could tell you more but I can’t right now.
Why you choose ‘Probed’ as your next movie?
I have a lot of scripts that I’ve been working on for a few years now that could’ve been my next film. PROBED was the one that got GREGG HALE and ROB COWIE, the original producers of BLAIR WITCH, excited enough to devote their time to it. They approached me about producing it and I was ready to go.
Which Role will Micheal Williams play in Probed?
Mike plays a character named OTIS. He is the comic-relief for the movie and is a great character for Mike. I thought of Mike a lot as Jamie and I worked on the script.
Can you give some details about the story?
Nothing other than what I’ve already said. Sorry.
Ah, come on Sanchez, where’s the love? All and all though, it’s a pretty cool interview that you catch the rest of by clicking HERE. I’ve been pretty stoked on this flick since I heard about it a while back, and I’m hoping it lives up to the hype they’re creating by keeping it all one big secret.
