Macho-man, badass and all around cool dude Vin Diesel (read The Arrow’s interview HERE) got to talkin’ with MTV this week and leaked some info. on the sequel to this summer’s most kick-ass hero!
Diesel, who kicked Travolta’s butt at the Box Office this past weekend, had HANNIBAL, his Roman Empire epic, on the brain early this week. But he also had another project that he let slip out- the sequel to this past summer’s THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK (read The Arrow’s review HERE)
Here’s what Diesel had to say:
“Riddick? Well, you know that I’ve always had ‘C2’ planned. I’m silently — and I shouldn’t even say this — I’m silently working on ‘C2’ with some of the outlines that were created when I first thought of doing the three films.”
Hells yeah! I’m a huge fan of both PITCH BLACK and RIDDICK (and DARK FURY, the animated bridge between the sequels), mainly due to Diesel’s badass mofo charactor Riddick- he’s the coolest kat in town (come on- you know you want to be like him!). So we might have to wait a few years, but at least we know that C2 will someday make it to the big screen.
