The
nominees are in!
FANGORIA’S CHAINSAW AWARDS have arrived online. I
actually used
to follow them religiously when I was a younger twerp reading the Fango rag.
Man they’ve been kicking for ages!
Of all the 2004 nominees, the one that
carved a smile on my face the most was seeing EMILY PERKINS being nominated
for BEST ACTRESS. Although I wasn’t crazy about
GINGER
SNAPS 2: UNLEASHED; her rock solid performance was pretty much the
sole aspect that kept me watching.
So congrats fellow Canuck! Hope you bring it
home! Hope that Casting Agents open their eyes to see that you can play more
than just “Goth-like” chicks! And hope to see ya in more genre films soon! I’ll
speak for myself, I miss the dame!
