The upcoming bayou-based horror flick HATCHET has dropped some fun info over at Horroview.com. Added to the cast now are Mercedes McNabb (Harmony from BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) and Parry Shen (BETTER LUCK TOMORROW). They also have some pics of our beloved Kane Hodder getting his prosthetics fitted, one of which you can check out below.
With more on Hodder in the flick, director Adam Green had this to say: “Yesterday was the first full run through/make-up test on Kane Hodder and I got to meet Victor Crowley for the first time face to face. He even grabbed me by the throat and shook me once for fun. And I was scared. Actually, I was f*cking scared. Can’t say enough about how amazing Kane Hodder is. Whereas some actors would be unpleasant and uncomfortable sitting through such a tedius make-up and prosthetics job…the guy is literally cracking jokes as he sits it out. Once he got to see himself in the mirror he instantly started working on his expressions and mannerisms. Be afraid. Be very afraid.”
I don’t think any of us need to be told how cool and scary the Kane-man is, but it’s always good to hear him getting props anyway. Stay tuned for more info as it drops into our laps.
