Horror writer Wil Radcliffe (Noggle Stones) is helping to buck the goddamn remake trend! Yay Wil! Platinum Studios has acquired the rights to develop his next four graphic novels into live-action features. And man do the concepts sound sweet! Check ’em out:
BONE HILL – a thriller about a psychiatrist trying to save a young female patient whose psychoses might hold the key to ending an ancient evil.
THE WHISPER KING – About a man who must protect a group of kids from the monsters who abducted him as a child.
MACABRE – A teen supernatural horror story about a young man possessed by a vengeful spirit.

PLAY DEAD – In which a family is haunted by the malevolent spirit of their beloved household pet.
Someone developing original horror properties? Am I dreaming? OK, so it’s not as bad as all that, but this is a breath of fresh air.
