Dark Poster

The boys over at Bloody-Disgusting got a first look at the latest poster for Walter Salles’s remake DARK WATER, starring the ever so hot Jennifer Connelly.

Based on the original Japanese flick directed by RINGU director Hideo Nakata, WATER tells the story of a divorced mother and daughter looking to find refuge in a new apartment building- only to be haunted by the ghost of the young girl you used to live there.

Not that the new poster is bad, but the teaser poster, with it’s stylistic reflections and overall darkness intrigues me more than the new one- but a better view of Connelly is better than a bad one any day of the week!

Too bad this bitch just got rated PG-13, but with THE GRUDGE, THE RING, and THE RING TWO all busting out the PG-13 scares that really do scare, I’m not too worried about this one deliverying the goods.

You can check Connelly, along side John C. Reilly, Tim Roth, and Shelley DuVall this August, when DARK WATER is expected to hit theaters.
