David Fincher, possibly one of the greatest filmmakers of our generation, is currently in talks to do a film about real-life psychopath The Zodiac Killer.
ZODIAC, following the efforts of the people who were tracking down the killer in San Francisco between the years 1966 and 1978, is currently being written for the screen by Jamie Vanderbilt, based upon the novels by Robert Graysmith.
Sounds like gold to me, especially since this freak slaughtered 37 victims! And who better to bring such a gritty film to light than Fincher? Sounds like it could be his next SE7EN… if we’re lucky…
