Aw hell. Do we really need another JEEPERS CREEPERS sequel? I’ll be honest, this franchise has done exactly dick for me from the get go. Then the second one comes out obsessed with dick, at least homoerotic over and undertones, a fact that was so weird and out of place that even Roger Ebert noted The Arrow’s review and opinion on the matter.
Now we get news from the Chiller convention that Jonathan Breck, the Creeper himself, stated the third film will shoot this summer for a 2006 release. No script is written yet, but the story sounds like it will pick up from the end of the last one…23 years in the future.
Sorry to those folks who were hoping for a prequel, though I’m not sure how that would improve things. However, if they make CREEPER IN SPACE, I’d have to go see that!
