Roger Avary, screenwriter for SILENT HILL, has taken the unusual step of publicly stating his support for an unknown actress? who wants to get in on the film.

Ms. Julia Sandburg Hansson sent him the photos you see here, and Avary was so taken with them, her correspondence, and goodness knows what else, that he put the pics and the plug up for all the world to see. Pretty nice on his part, though I suspect he’s just created what’s going to be a headache inducing amount of emails asking for his support.

And a word to Ms. Hansson – Congratulations! You just scored quite a PR coup. Well done. If you’ve got talent, I’d imagine there’s a decent chance this could turn into something for you. And if not, well enjoy your 15 minutes.
