Leonard Gets High

Oh f*ck me with a spoon! OK, not really, but how am I supposed to feel about yet another HIGHLANDER movie coming out? It’s like they say with heroin, that first time is amazing, and then it’s just a bunch of sad, pathetic attempts to recapture the magic of that initial experience.

Helming the new chapter, HIGHLANDER: THE SOURCE, will be Brett Leonard (THE LAWNMOWER MAN), which no doubt means the effects will be solid, though probably too CGI-y. When are they going to learn to get back to the mud, blood and muck of the first one! The story, as though it matters at this point, is rumoured to tell the story of four new charismatic Immortals as they quest to locate the Holy Grail of their world. And there’s no Connor McCloud.
