Some people may find ghosts scary, while others find hockey masks and chainsaws scary- but me, it’s the real psychos who are the scariest. For that reason I’m happy to announce the release of the Unrated edition of THE HILLSIDE STRANGLER on DVD.
Directed by Chuck Parello (ED GEIN) and starring C. Thomas Howell (HITCHER 2), and Nicholas Turturro (HELLRAISER: INFERNO) the movie suggests an alternative theory on the spring of murders that shook San Fransicso in the late 1970’s. Instead of one mass murderer, the film looks at the idea that there were actually 2 cousins working together, raping and murdering (not always in that order) the string of female victims.
Described as trashy and dipping into the realms of soft-core porn, STRANGLER should be a hefty treat for those intrigued with the real life horrors that have inspired the movie maniacs we all know and love today.
