The good folks at SciFi.com have scored an interview with Peter Sarsgaard about his upcoming film SKELETON KEY. Described as a movie that taps the genre vein like ROSEMARY’S BABY and DON’T LOOK NOW, this creepy little bastard takes place in New Orleans (my favorite city!) and also stars Kate Hudson, John Hurt and Gena Rowlands. Right. Sounds about as exciting as Sunday brunch. However, considering the strong cast, the setting (did I mention I LOVE New Orleans), and the possible coolness of the premise – let’s mark this one down as a project to watch. If they could just do a better job of giving us genre fans something to get jazzed about. I mean, mystery is all well and good, but if you don’t give us anything, we might as well go to Vegas and watch the tiger dudes tempt fate.
