Looks like all of us who have been chomping at the bit to sink our teeth into THE DEVIL’S REJECTS are going to have to wait just a little bit longer than anticipated. Rob Zombie himself posted the following on his official message boards to squash the reports of a February release:
There has been a lot of talk about the movie coming out in Feb. Well, as much as that would be great. It is not true. Christ man, we are still working on the damn thing. Stay calm, we are working as fast as we can but some things take time. We still have a long way to go in post-production, but things are looking amazing.
I truly appreciate your excitement, but please let’s stop the Feb. rumors. It’s not possible.
I admit I’d been salivating like Pavlov’s dogs at the chance to see it released in February, but I’d rather wait and get the movie that Zombie wants to deliver, rather than some hastily scrapped together offering that falls short of what he, and the fans want. Plus, uber-kudos to the man for staying so keyed in to the fans and being proactive about taking care of business. Not that we’d expect any less.
