MTV Video Music Awards

Last night was the broadcast of the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. I may have an inkling of what you may be thinking. Ranging from “Who cares?” to “Why does MTV still do this when they don’t even play music videos anymore?” Well, I don’t have solid answers for you. What I can say for those who are interested is that Madonna dominated the ceremony like it was 1998 with multiple victories, which can harken back to when she released her Ray of Light album and won six times.

Madonna had released a sequel album to her 2005 Confessions. According to Deadline, Confessions II, was a big victor last night with seven awards. Other winners include pop princesses who are currently dominating the charts, like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter. You can get a full list of the winners below.
