Reacher has become one of Prime Video’s biggest and most popular shows, so it should come as no surprise that the streaming service has renewed the series for season 6. That’s mighty early, as the show only recently wrapped up airing its fourth season.
Reacher Season 6

The fifth season kicked off production in July and is based on Make Me, the 20th installment of Lee Child’s novels, but it’s unclear which novel will serve as the basis for the sixth season. The early renewal helps keep the series on a yearly release schedule, which is refreshing given how many shows nowadays take years between seasons.
The Reacher Franchise
Reacher season 4 has been a big success with 66 million viewers globally in its first 28 days on Prime Video. You can’t stop this guy.
In his review of the fourth season, our own Alex Maidy said the show “continues to improve with each new season as Alan Ritchson finds more ways to deliver angles on the character we have not seen before.“
The franchise has also expanded with the release of the first spin-off series, Neagley. The show stars Maria Sten as the title character, a private investigator and friend of Reacher. Maidy found the show to be just as good as Reacher. “Maria Sten holds her own as the lead of this series that does not need Alan Ritchson’s presence to keep it fun and exciting,” he wrote in his review, “but seeing Reacher and Neagley together always feels like seeing the Avengers cross over with one another.“
