A new Batman V Superman trailer is likely to debut at Comic Con tomorrow

Last Updated on February 4, 2026

With Marvel Studios absent from Comic Con this year and sources claiming that a new STAR WARS trailer will not be shown over the weekend, Warner Bros and DC are looking to capitalize on the focus on BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and that may include a new trailer. Those of us who work in online media typically reference the Alberta Film Ratings website as a guide for when upcoming trailers will likely drop. Once appearing on their site, new trailers usually show up within days to a week but rarely longer than that. Just today, they classified the second trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. With the DC panel set for tomorrow, it seems very likely we will be seeing new footage from Zack Snyder‘s anticipated team-up.

Clocking in at two and a half minutes, the new trailer is only twenty seconds longer than the running time for the first trailer. But, with photos debuting of most of the supporting players over the last few months including Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman, I feel confident that DC and Warner Bros are going to pull out all the stops and give us something pretty spectacular to tide us over until the film is released.

Our crack team of JoBlo.com reporters are on site all weekend at Comic Con, including the Warner Bros panel which starts at 10:30 AM PST tomorrow. We will bring you the big news as soon as it drops. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
