Sounds like somebody wants to give HELLBOY a run for its money. Variety reports that Rogue Pictures has grabbed the film rights to comic series LOST SQUAD. Now I’m unfamiliar with the comic, but just listen to the description.
“Lost Squad” chronicles the adventures of a ragtag unit of Allied soldiers who fight Hitler’s occult agents and other supernatural threats during WWII.
Derivative or not, the upside is that Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter are producing. Since they also have HACK/SLASH in development at Rogue, I think we can assume that whatever horror and bloodshed is to be found will likely be on full display.
