Twisted Pictures – the crazy mofos who brought you SAW, are looking to screw with your mind with a new film titled TORTURED. The film is set to be directed by Rob Lieberman (pictured). Lieberman directed the film FIRE IN THE SKY, which scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
The film is going to be a psychological revenge thriller. I guess if the film is being produced by Twisted Pictures, it’s going to be a psychological horror flick. Anyways, the script was written by Marek Posival, who was in the running to write SAW IV.
It’s tough to argue with what Twisted Pictures has done; they’ve built a franchise that owns the Halloween weekend. Halloween weekend wouldn’t be the same without Twisted Pictures releasing a new SAW movie. So I guess I gotta admit that I’m excited to hear what comes about from TORTURED.
