A woman and her therapist face off in False Witness trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

High Octane Pictures has announced that they will be giving director Tom Sands' FALSE WITNESS a VOD release in May, and a trailer has arrived online to start building the hype.

Written by Mick Sands, FALSE WITNESS has the following synopsis:

When 25-year-old Mia Hoffman changed her testimony as a state witness and allowed a cop-killer to go free, she was vilified. Rejected by her friends, harassed by the police, and dismissed by the medical profession, she seeks out a famous celebrity therapist who specializes in treating PTSD. Using increasingly provocative psychological techniques, the therapist probes Mia's suppressed memories for answers. But the goals of therapist and client soon become wildly divergent. Their strong wills and fragile grasps on reality lead to terrifying rabbit-holes of suspenseful showdowns, each more frightening than the other.

Darcie Lincoln, Sandy Batchelor, Kevin Interdonato, and Tom Forbes star.

Judging by the trailer, it looks like this movie goes off in some crazy directions, so I might have to give it a look in a couple weeks.

FALSE WITNESS will be available to purchase or rent on VOD as of May 5th.
