Aaron Eckhart, Sean Bean and AnnaSophia Robb join dark Peter Pan tale

Back in November we reported on an intriguing project that turned the Peter Pan tale on its head called PAN, which at one time was set up with Guillermo del Toro. While Mr. del Toro fled the film (to work on one of his hundred other projects, no doubt), PAN lives on, with animator Ben Hibon on board to direct and a trio of actors in line to star.

According to Screen Daily, Aaron Eckhart, Sean Bean and AnnaSophia Robb have all signed up for PAN. Eckhart plays Hook, the Captain Hook character reimagined as a tormented former detective on the trail of a childlike kidnapper. Rob will portray Wendy, the lone survivor who leaves an asylum to help in the hunt, while Sean Bean has been cast as Smee, the chief detective and Hook’s only ally on the force.
