Abbie Cornish and Dermot Mulroney Find Thrills in Lavender

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Abbie Cornish and Dermot Mulroney have signed on to join Diego Klattenhoff in the cast of LAVENDER, a psychological thriller with THE LAST EXORCISM PART II director Ed Gass-Donnelly at the helm.

Gass-Donnelly co-wrote the screenplay with Colin Frizzell, crafting a story about

a photographer struggling with severe memory loss. Strange clues among her photos begin to suggest that she may be responsible for the deaths of family members she never knew she had.

Cornish will play the beleaguered photographer. If that description makes you fear that the project might not lean far enough into horror territory, you may prefer the one that accompanied the news of Klattenhoff's casting:

…a woman must return to her childhood home in order to remember the grisly family massacre that took place there, of which she was the sole survivor. The ghosts of her family force her to remember what really happened the night of their deaths.

Ghosts and a grisly massacre? That's more like it!

LAVENDER begins filming in Toronto later this month.
