ABC Killer theaters

We’ve been talking about director Rob Schmidt’s THE ALPHABET KILLER for quite some time and, frankly, I’m a little shocked and pissed that I’ve yet to write an article about it. Well, thankfully, today I can put my concerns to rest. Because, lookee here, THE ABC KILLER is making some noise!

Anchor Bay just announced today that KILLER will be scoring a limited theatrical release beginning Friday, December 12th. This is pretty sweet news, considering it was once thought that the flick would just be heading straight to DVD. It also appears that some additional screenings are going to be popping up in Rochester, Buffalo, Los Angeles, and New York. The special “invite-only” premiere will also be happening at the NYC Cinema Village on Thursday, December 11th. So if you want to catch a glimpse of ABC’s gorgeous star, Eliza Dushku (below), now you know where to be.

The flick’s plot is loosely base upon a series of murders that shook New York in the early 1970’s. In reality, the killer was never caught, and little of the truth and motivation behind the murders is known. A puzzling fact that earned the killer’s nickname was how the victim’s names, as well as the city they were from, all began with the same letter.

In addition to the dreamy Dushku, ABC KILLER also stars Cary Elwes (SAW) and Oscar®-winner Timothy Hutton.
