When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know that this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. Adam Scott looks mighty fearful in the first images from KRAMPUS, as well as the Spanish trailer, of which you can see below.

Writer/director Michael Dougherty made a name for himself with the now cult-classic horror flick, TRICK 'R TREAT, so there's a lot of fans awaiting KRAMPUS. The man has definitely taken part in writing some big flicks (SUPERMAN RETURNS, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE) so I'm curious to see him get behind the camera more in the future. For now, he seems to have found his horror niche.

KRAMPUS opens in theaters on December 4, 2015.
